ALR's work with Sothebys

The ALR searches all auction catalogues and private sales for Sothebys to identify before sale any items which are registered as stolen, fake, missing, looted.

This is the foundation of due diligence to ensure that the buyers obtain good title free of disputes. In the event of matches with items which are claimed the ALR assists with resolution through negotiation or mediation.

The ALR is a consignor to Sothebys for insurers or owners of items which have been recovered.
