International press features Anja Shortland’s ‘Lost Art’, covering the ALR and other initiatives in identifying and recovering stolen art

We are pleased that several recent articles in the international press have focused on ALR cases in Anja Shortland’s new book, ‘Lost Art’. Articles have appeared so far in The Daily Telegraph, The Mail on Sunday, Country Life, and the book was also featured in The Art Newspaper’s June book bag. The author was also interviewed on the popular podcast EconTalk.

Meanwhile Insurance Day has explored the ALR’s role and challenges of stolen and looted art at length for the insurance trade in an excellent article by Rasaad Jamie Focus: ‘The courts are reluctant for insurers to profit from recovery of stolen artwork’.

For any questions or press enquiries, please contact the ALR directly.
